1. Fill the litter tray with pellets to a depth of about 5 cm.
2. Remove solid waste daily using a scoop.
3. Allow pellets to absorb urine and break down into sawdust.
4. Separate sawdust from fresh pellets using a sifting tray or by stirring the pellets occasionally.
5. Add fresh pellets as needed to maintain the 5 cm depth.
6. Sawdust can be used as garden fertilizer.
